Unit 35E Lot 64; TOT ID# 1620. For the golfer the Heartsong is conveniently located on the northern end of The Sea Ranch near The Sea Ranch Links Golf Course. This custom designed home is a 2.5 bath, 2 bedrooms plus loft home providing classic Sea Ranch comfort. Meaning the window seat in the loft invites you into a cozy corner to enjoy the ocean view or your favorite novel. The ambiance of the gas fireplace in the living room has you sitting with a glass of wine reminiscing about your days adventure. The house provides a light airy kitchen, and a reader's library of books and games. There is also a hot tub in the fully enclosed backyard to end a perfect day. One dog is welcome. Bed linens and towels are NOT provided, bring your own or rent them from Beach Rentals.

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), with a 1 car garage available. No RV's.

  We have been coming to Sea Ranch for decades. Heartsong is one of our favorite places to stay. This time we had the 3 and 6 year old grandkids who slept upstairs while the adults enjoyed the downstairs bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen well stocked and hot tub enjoyed. Since it rained we didn’t go out much but felt very comfortable and cozy. The path to the shoreline path is close and you can hear and see the ocean from the upstairs balcony or the hot tub.

  We spent a very relaxing week at Heartsong up near the northern end of Sea Ranch. The house is cozy and welcoming with a great loft/living area upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs. Hot tub in lovely enclosed courtyard. Near the bluff trail and Gualala Point Park. The only difficulty was watching the downstairs TV as it was mounted too high for viewing from the sofa and chairs and produced sore necks. Otherwise, a great getaway!

  We loved this home. It has three ample separate spaces (2 bedrooms with their own baths and a loft with a half bath). The loft has a beautiful reading nook with views of the ocean. The house across the street blocks the sunset, but it's a quick walk to the trail on the bluff. There was also a beautiful enclosed garden, which was perfect for our dog. The house was updated; it was clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well stocked. It would've been nice to have some generic shampoo and conditioner and for the windows to be cleaner so we could appreciate the views even more. But, overall, we loved the house and plan to be back!

  It's a beautiful, well-designed house, so there's a place for everything. The master suite is spacious and the loft is a wonderful place to read a book or gaze at the view. It's close to Gualala Regional Park, and and a great place to walk. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the enclosed yard is a nice bonus when traveling with dogs.

  We've been coming to Sea Ranch since the early 80's and have rented several different homes. We decided this was the best we have rented. It's located on an especially picturesque area of Sea Ranch very close to town. It took me less than 5 minutes to access the Bluff Trail, and it is an easy walk into the Gualala Regional Park. The furnishings are comfortable and the decorating is lovely....very nice art. There is a great ocean view from the loft. There is an amazing library of books. The kitchen is super well equipped. There is a nice enclosed yard. We were there 6 weeks and totally enjoyed our stay. We'd definitely rent it again.

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Heartsong house. Close to the bluff trail but nobody walking right in front of the house. Nice enclosed area for dog. Contrary to what some prior visitors said here - the house was very clean (although a carpet cleaning wouldn’t hurt) and the wi fi worked perfectly even with two of us logged in to work.

  This is my family’s second stay at Heartsong. I love the layout of the house and the proximity to the Bluff Trail as well as to shopping in Gualala. It’s wonderful to have an enclosed back yard for a toddler and our lab. The hot tub was not warm on our first night but a call to Beach Rentals (always so helpful and friendly) brought a service person fix it within a few hours- terrific. The house is clean and the kitchen stocked adequately with everything we needed. We will stay again next year hopefully when my grandson has a baby brother.

The house was in a great location for walks and bike rides (between rain drops). The house was clean, comfortable and had everything you could possibly need to make you feel right at home. The house was dog friendly and had a great little fully fenced-in yard. I think everyone’s favorite spot in the house was the loft area with the window seats - great place to watch the storms coming in! Will definitely stay at Heartsong again.

  I visit Sea Ranch a lot and always have a great experience This house had a great view! There were so many things to love about it (location, layout) but, as reviews often do, they focus on the negative. The house was dusty and the toilets unclean. This was reported to the Management company when I left. IT is truly a great management company and I doubt that will be a problem in the future.
  
  The kitchen was stoceked really heap, dated cookware! The frying pans were old, scratched teflon, the pots were flimsy and there weren't many of them. It was challenging to cook. The furniture was also on the cheap - uncomfortable pillows, icky comforters, pillows. And 4 towel bars in one bathroom and only 1 towel bar in the master bath! In spite of these complaints, I would go back, probably with my own bedding and pots and pans. I haven't stayed at the north end of the property before and it had it's strengths - it's close to the golf course and gualala!

  This property is located on a quiet road at the northern end of Sea Ranch, off of Leeward.
  
  We loved the enclosed yard and the hot tub was perfectly located for star having and watching the waves. The house had many thoughtful touches and had a very well-organized kitchen and storage area/pantry set up.
  
  As other reviews have mentioned, wifi is not strong throughout the entire house, best signal was in the living room area. The TV in the main living room area is awkwardly placed, up high on the wall and at an angle and there is no option for streaming, just a standard cable package. There is a dvd player upstairs but we could not find the remote for it and had to manually control the discs on the player itself. Had the weather been better and more conducive to being outside, this would have been less of an issue, however our stay was full of rainy days and more indoor time than usual.
  
  We had a few minor repair issues at the beginning of our visit and the property manager, Sea Ranch Rentals, was very responsive and fixed the issues immediately. Always a pleasure working with them!

  We enjoyed our recent stay in this spacious, nicely maintained home. The instant hot water feature is great, especially as we are all trying to conserve water. The kitchen could use a few upgrades - i.e. microwave, coffeemaker, and oven are all showing their age, and as mentioned in a previous review there is no can opener. It was super windy during our entire stay and since this home is so close to the exposed bluffs we unfortunately couldn't enjoy the nice backyard or upstairs deck too much. For some reason, the WiFi was very slow in both the master bedroom and the loft, so perhaps consider an extender in these areas? A very quiet location, easy access to the bluff trail, and overall a great experience.

  We have returned each year since I discovered this gem of a home. Located near an abundance of hiking trails you can take a long walk with the dog and return home to soak in the hot tub. It’s also close to town and the wonderful Surf Market. If you’re there on the weekend make sure to visit the local farmers market on Saturday morning for a good selection of local goodies. This year our dog Lucy refused to leave. We didn’t want to leave either. See you next year Heartsong!

My only issue was the unmistakable evidence of rodent droppings in a few of the kitchen drawers and cabinets. Yikes!   The house felt dirty and lacked maintenance throughout. The bathroom vents were filthy, the walls in the master bedroom had over 15 marks on them (someone tried to do some touch up paint and used the wrong color), the front door wall was roughly patched and never painted. The kitchen was stocked with cheap utensils, pot and pans and the kitchen blinds were broken well. Very disappointed when I arrived and saw that there was no ocean view from the common areas downstairs. But if you went upstairs and sat on an uncomfortable window seat you could see the ocean. Overall, I thought the house was sub par. I rent in Sea Ranch every few months and I would not rent this house again.

  My eight-day stay in Heartsong was delightful. It's a beautiful Steve Brodie designed house, so there's a place for everything. The master suite is spacious and the loft is a wonderful place to read a book or gaze at the view. It's close to Gualala Regional Park, and that's a great place to walk. The house has everything you need for a bountiful stay. I didn't need to bring my vegetable steamer! It was great to be able to store my car in the garage.

  Heartsong is a lovely house with wonderful views. The backyard is nice with a well maintained fence and hot tub. The open plan is very pleasant and we will definitely consider it as an option for our next stay at Sea Ranch.
  The only problem that we had was that almost none of the windows have screens. This made it hard to get much fresh air inside, because you can't open the windows much without bugs, and you can't leave all the screen doors open all the time because of recent raccoon issues.
  Luckily the weather was lovely and it wasn’t a big deal – just sort of curious.
  The internet was unreliable, but the rental office told us that they will be upgrading in a few months. We didn’t really miss it because were there to relax, not get on Facebook. But if that’s important to you this summer (2017), then it’s worth noting. I did have 4G reception with AT&T, but our Sprint phone had no signal.

  We had a delightful stay at Heartsong. We have stayed at Sea Ranch for over 40 years and this was one of the loveliest houses we have stayed in. My husband, the chef, appreciated the well appointed kitchen. The hot tub under the stars was enjoyed by all. There is a nice separation of bedrooms and the loft area provided great views. We only wish we could have stayed longer and read ALL the wonderful books. Such a great library and plenty of puzzles. Our weather was perfect but it would be very cozy on a cold, rainy winter day.

  We had a great midweek stay at Heartsong. Everything was in great order, and this was the perfect getaway for working remotely. The only issue I had was 1) locating the wireless code (it wasn't in a book or on papers, but it would be great if it could've been); and 2) the wireless connection was quite slow, making working remotely a bit slow. It was doable, but slow! We enjoyed yoga on the sunny second floor and soaking in the hot tub, as well as observing the hummingbirds and monarch butterflies in the garden. The trails along the ocean were also wonderful.

  Family of five and I dog were quite omfortable in this lovely home. Just like the , even better. Enjoyed the small backyard and hot tub; the proximity to the bluff trail, the sound of waves crashing agains the rocks, the wildlife: deer, foxes and seals. Swam at two of the rec centers and enjoyed two nice meals in Gualala:Trinks for lunch; Gualala Hotel for dinner.
  Also the art center is very nice, Good vacation. You should plan: BBQ is charcoal, not gas, but worked fine for us. Hope to return.

  Normally when you are at Sea Ranch going into town is a pain, but at Heartsong Gaulala is only 5 minutes away! The ocean is only a 5 minute walk as well. The hot tub was a nice size, and the house had a clean, home like feel. I would stay here again.
