Unit 24 Lot 37; TOT ID# 1636. This comfortable ocean meadow home has many classic Sea Ranch details including interior redwood walls with large windows to enjoy the ocean view and the meadow wildlife. Curl up in one of the four large window seats to enjoy the whitewater view, the scurrying quail or the migration of the pelicans. A short walk will take you to Shell Beach, some of the best Sea Ranch tide pools, the seal rookery or the children’s playground at One Eyed Jack’s House. A short drive will take you to one of the pools, tennis courts or the golf course.

The 2-Story house includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with full tub/showers. The primary and second bedroom each have a king bed. The 3rd bedroom is a large room with 4 built in bunk beds (all extra long twins). The house has an open second story den with a new 42 inch flat screen TV. Living Room includes a wood burning fireplace surrounded by window seats. The kitchen has an electric stainless-steel range with double oven. The house is very well equipped for large dinners with family and friends seating up to 10. Sliding glass doors lead to a deck with private patio with a BBQ. An outdoor hot water shower is a favorite feature with kids and their parents! Additional provisions include two baby gates, a crib, a high chair and a booster seat – for the youngest set.

There is an attached two car garage with a private parking area next to the house. Juice Box 40 Level 2 EV Charger available for use. Free WIFI available. Free unlimited local and long distance calling. Our home is pet friendly for one dog. Please do not leave the dog unsupervised in the home while you are away.   This was our third stay at this house! It's a perfect place for my wife and I, our 3 kids (aged between 4-9) and my parents! Plenty of room, and the perfect location. 5 minute (or less) walk to the beach AND to the playground. The house itself was great as usual. We used the fireplace for the first time and it was an added bonus! If you're a family looking for a great vacation home in an even better location, this is it!

  We have stayed here a few times and really enjoyed the house. Love the fireplace and plenty of room for large family. Kitchen is on the smaller side, but completely workable. Also nice that you have access to two car garage to park and to store excess things while staying there.
  One of the best features is the location. So near to Shell Beach, tide pools (now closed so just an overlook) and only 5 minutes to town.

  Overall, the house was was comfortable and very nicely built. Our bed was comfortable, the kitchen had what we needed, and the appliances all worked. The window seats and pillows were placed lovely, but could have been cleaner, as there were stains on both and bugs on the window sills and seats. There was very little storage space for our items, as we stayed for two weeks. I'd recommend having more guest storage in the kitchen cupboards. The garage door was very difficult for me to open and close, as it was heavy and too high for me to reach without standing on a chair. Beach Rentals staff were very accommodating, professional, and pleasant. I would recommend them again for sure!

  Had a wonderful three-day weekend at Quail View with four adults and four kids. The house is classic Sea Ranch (has a loft!) and delightfully stocked with puzzles and games. The updated kitchen appliances and ample cooking and dining equipment made meals easy. We appreciated that the windows for all three bedrooms were not east facing, so we weren't all up with the sun. The location is excellent, close to the bluffs and to One Eyed Jack's playground. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

  We had a marvelous time for the 5 days we stayed at Quail View. It is a really good size house and although we were just 4 people, we were glad for the space. The kitchen is absolutely well stocked and had everything we needed. Loved the window seats and spent hours there. Loved the very close proximity to the most fabulous beach and to view the seals. the house itself is a bit dated but very comfortable. Our only real complaint was cleanliness. Windows were not cleaned prior to our arrival and filled with cobwebs. Furniture had not been moved and we found scraps of chips and other things when moving a chair to watch tv. Similarly under beds. Otherwise, it was perfect location.

  The week was great but this home needs work! Was very dirty and garage door is manual. Our neighbor complained that our cars blocked their view but there is no wooded fence like most Sea Ranch homes. Great location near Shell Beach!

  This was our second stay at this home. We love it for our family of 5 including kids ages 2, 5 and 7. If you have kids, this is THE house to stay at. Upstairs sleeps 6, plus a master downstairs! 2 minute walk to the playground, or head 4 minutes the other way to the beach! Updated kitchen appliances are nice too! Neighbors cut a large bush since last time so the ocean view was even BETTER! We'll definitely be up for round 3 soon!

  This was our first trip as a family of 5 (ages 1-6). Our oldest has special needs and we had a lot of reservations about a trip like this. The house was perfect! We felt safe and comfortable. The double bunk bed room is great for kids. Newly redone kitchen was a dream to cook in! The location was also absolutely the BEST in Sea Ranch! A 3 minute walk to Shell Beach, or go in the other direction for a nature trail just a couple of minutes away! We never had to drive anywhere, which was ideal. The ocean view was amazing both upstairs and downstairs. Not only will we be returning to Sea Ranch again as soon as possible, we will specifically try and book THIS home when we do!

  The location of this house is wonderful. There was construction occurring on the house next door, so our view was of a porta-potty and construction trailer. The sound of hammering was the norm Monday through Friday. There are a few issues with the house that should be handled. The caulking around the sink was black with mold and peeling out. Many of the window screens are torn and barely hanging in the frame. This explains the dozens of flies when we arrived. This was not the peaceful relaxing vacation we expected from a Sea Ranch house for $275/night ($382/night including fees and without linens).

  We put together a last minute trip up to Sea Ranch for 2 families (6 kids total!) and this was literally the only house left to book that would fit us all. We could not have been luckier to come across and be able to stay in this wonderful house. The location is fantastic and the house is perfect for large-ish groups. It is well appointed, nicely laid out, and has a wonderful comfy cabin-like feel to it. We come up to Sea Ranch a few times a year and will definitely be adding this house to our list of favorite rentals.

  This house was a perfect getaway for our family, including a toddler. The amenities of the house are great, and the washing machine in the garage really came in handy. There is a shower in the backyard, so that you don't take the sand inside the house. The king bed downstairs was the MOST Comfortable bed I've slept in in a long time. There was a fun game closet with puzzles, etc. We enjoyed playing Jenga. There is not a TV downstairs (it's unnecessary), but we thoroughly enjoyed the CD player and the throwback CD's that were available there. My 8 year old memorized some cool 60's tunes. This was in a close proximity to a nice beach, and we walked there daily. We will be back!

  This home was perfect for our two younger children and their families--both have 9 year olds and 12 year olds. The cousins loved sleeping in the bunk room, while the adults had their own private bedrooms. The dining room table was plenty big for meals, puzzles and art projects.   We had a great time at the Quail View rental house with our 16 month old triplet boys! The kids room was well equipped and far enough away from the living area so that it was quiet for nap & bedtime. An added surprise was there were 2 sets of bunk beds & a crib. We borrowed 2 Pack-N-Plays from Beach Rentals and our boys were very comfortable. They actually slept through the night our entire stay. If you are travelling with toddlers, be sure to bring child gates to put around the free standing fire place in the living room. Our boys had a great time running around on the lower floor!

  Great experience! We've been coming to SR almost every summer for 20 years and this is one of the best rentals.
  We have a dog and needed four separate sleeping areas. With two king bedrooms, a loft sofa, and a bunk room with four bunk beds it fit the bill.
  The central fireplace was loved by all. The window benches and assorted chairs provided more than enough seating around the fire.
  If you are not familiar with Section 24, we think it's the best. It's close to the playground, volleyball, bocci ball, great beaches and the tide pools of Shell Beach.
  Lastly, Beach Rentals was a pleasure to go through. Easy to book, with exceptionly friendly service, and a very easy check-out process that did NOT make us clean bathrooms, vacuum, or clean like some rental places do... Instead, we really felt like we were on vacation!!
  We highly recommend this house. It has the real SR beach look, feel, and location, location, location!!

  Quail View is a fully-equipped getaway home, not new but well-loved and maintained. While it has huge windows and soaring ceilings the vibe is cozy, comfortable, and homey. We loved the circular fireplace and generous window seats. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequate, with a slightly odd layout. The kids loved the bunkroom and the available toys and games. A gorgeous beach and playground are close by.
