Unit 28 Lot 95; TOT ID# 1605. This wonderful home is just steps to the bluff trail leading to Tide Pool Beach, Shell Beach and Walk on Beach. A comfortable and fully equipped home which has views from the deck, kitchen, living room and master bedroom. Breaker View offers a relaxing living area for the family with a cozy stone fireplace, plush window seats and beautiful white and blue water views. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home has one California king bed, one queen bed, and two twins that can be made into a king bed. The deck fronts a scenic, deer-filled meadow with unobstructed views to the ocean. Great for families. Free wireless internet. Garage not available to renters. Bed linens and towels included.

  My wife and I got away for a long weekend at Sea Ranch, reserving Breaker View a short two weeks before we wanted to start our respite. What an excellent view and cozy place. One hour after arrival, we saw out first whale spout of the coast from the kitchen/patio doorway. My wife has a knack for spotting whale spouts and she will usually do so - but from the shore/bluff not the kitchen (we saw several the next day walking on the bluff). Even though rained on and off, we enjoyed our times walking on the bluff and hunkering down. The sheets on the bed were so soft we slept like babies. We have been to Sea Ranch a dozen times or so over the years and this was one of our best venues.

  Just a beautiful home with great views of the ocean and coastal mountains. The home is lovely, clean and cozy which is pretty rare because it's plenty big. We stayed 3 nights and got 2 without clouds, you could see the Milky Way and the stars were so bright they lit up the night. You could see shooting stars about every 5-10 minutes. Absolutely magical!

  This was our third stay at Breaker View and we enjoyed a very relaxing time. This house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was clean, quiet and perfectly located close to the trail along the bluff. Our only real complaint is that the windows need some exterior cleaning. There is a raccoon that has made it’s home nearby and came for frequent visits during the night (footprints on deck and a sighting), but was not destructive.

  Seriously, this is the best place on earth! This was our 8th year bringing our family to this home and it never disappoints. This home has everything you need, it is so comfortable, it feels like your home away from home. The fully stocked kitchen has the best views, we see so much wildlife, even a fox and her babies this year! The dining table is the perfect spot to gather, and the spa on the deck is wonderful! We feel so comfortable in the living room, snuggled up near the fire place or next to the big ocean view windows and we love the big walk-in shower. We also really appreciate the new mattresses in two of the rooms. The panty is so helpful for all the food we bring up for the week and the courtyard out front is so special with all the beautiful flowers. We love that the location is so close to the trails and the views off the back deck are breathtaking. This home is everything we dream of for our family vacation, it really is the best place on earth!

  This home is just a few steps from the bluff trail, tide pools, sandy beach’s and playful seals. Do be careful not to disturb the seals!
  Home is clean with plenty of pantry space and most everything you need to bake, cook or set out a lovely charcuterie.
  Our only qualm was the living room furniture is a bit uncomfortable and the hot tub could have been a tad cleaner but that’s a small qualm.

  This was our 7th time returning to this home and we love it every time! It has everything you need plus you are close to the breathtaking views and trails that make Sea Ranch so special. The home is very comfortable, it feels like being home, with a beautiful kitchen that is fun to cook in. This year I enjoyed practicing yoga in the front courtyard, surrounded by beautiful flowers and architecture. The spa was perfect for our teen boys and the deck is so inviting with the nice deck chairs and surrounding views. This year we saw deer every day right off the deck, even a raccoon visited us more than once. My husband enjoyed the new chair they added to the primary bedroom, creating the perfect place to read and feel the ocean breeze. This house is so special, you have to experience it for yourself!

  We love the Mendocino coast but this was our first trip to Sea Ranch. What a weekend! The weather was unusually hot and sunny and the house was a dream. Beautiful views, easy access to anything you need (grocery store, hiking trail, beach), great layout for two sets of parents with young babies, a beautiful porch for sitting and stargazing and hot-tubbing, and a clearly well-loved collection of movies, games, and books surrounding the fireplace. I would love to keep this review to myself in hopes that the house will be available for our use in the future, but I think anyone considering booking Breaker View deserves to know they'll have a wonderful time.

  Breaker View is a perfect location for families with young children. It's all on one level and next to a cul-de-sac and most importantly a very short walk to both tide pools and a sandy beach.   We always take our 3 grandkids to SeaRanch every year. We have been doing this for the last 5 years. We always have rented the house next door. But decided to rent with you folks this trip. We like to have a house that has beach access by walking on the trails close to the rental. This year, we enjoyed “ whale-watching” from the back deck area or while eating our breakfast. My grandson had the binoculars on the dining room table to use it he saw a spout in the horizon! It was so awesome to be able to be entertained by all the “action” out at sea!   We have come back to this home every year and it just keeps getting better. We love everything about it, the place is so comfortable, it feels like being home.
  
  The kitchen has beautiful views with everything you need, including a walk-in pantry to store all the food we bring. In the evening we enjoy pretty lighting throughout the house, and in the day a wonderful deck that looks at the ocean, surrounded by golden grass that deer pass through.
  
  There is a bookshelf with plenty of fun books and the electronics my boys like to relax with. You'll also find puzzles and games. The master bedroom is the perfect size and the new mattress they added is very comfortable. We also love the walk in shower. Our boys feel that the other beds are not as comfortable and I would agree that they are due for something better there.
  
  When it gets cold, we enjoy a cozy fireplace with plenty of wood ready to use and tons of throw pillows to snuggle up with. The spa is also a wonderful feature, we use it everyday while there.
  
  To top it off, this house is a perfect location, it feels private, yet it's close to the bluff and trails, allowing us to explore the surrounding areas. This year we went during COVID-19 and were concerned about being safe. We were happy to see the house was empty a few days before we arrived, an added precaution they are now doing and we were able to get the keys without seeing anyone. We were also impressed with how clean the place was, we could tell they took the time to clean the house well prior to our visit. During our visits, we brought masks, but found that we were able to stay 7 nights and never be in contact with another person outside our family with the exception of my husband going into town for groceries. There he found everyone was following safety guidelines. This was an extra special trip this summer being able to vacation safely.

It's a fantastic house and we look forward to visiting again. If you have time visit Two Fish Bakery very early for fresh baked goods that are yummy. Only 10 minutes south. And of course, you can find whatever you need in Gualala should you forget anything.

  This was our 5th time back at Breaker View and it feels like home. The house has everything we need and this year there was a bonus with a new mattress in the master bedroom that was very comfortable! The access to the beaches is incredible, the deck facing the ocean is a treat and the home is not only beautiful, but so cozy! We love eating at the wood dining table after cooking in such a beautiful kitchen, the window seat is perfect for reading books and taking naps and the fire place was perfect for the cold evenings. The lighting in this home is exceptional, it really mades a big impact on the rooms in the evenings, and the large walk-in shower is wonderful! Small things like the walk-in pantry make all the difference, especially when you bring food for 7 days, the added space is so needed and appreciated and the laundry room is easy to access. The front part of the home is so pretty, I enjoyed all the flowers in bloom and the benches to sit on. We have looked at other homes in the past, but nothing compares to what Breaker View has to offer, we will be back again!

  We loved every single minute of our stay at Breaker View. Very clean, very cozy, fantastic proximity to the bluffs and beaches. We chose Breaker View for a three day getaway with our 5 year old daughter and 2 month old baby boy. The ability to walk out the front (or back) door and immediately be on a hike or mini adventure was so incredibly convenient. The hot tub on the deck looking out over the ocean was amazing and the fireplace was fantastic. Didn't really matter whether it was sunny or cold - just lounging in the house all day is perfect. During our stay we saw deer constantly grazing just feet outside the kitchen window. We also saw a bobcat, seals, three whales, plenty of hawks and other birds. The management company was great and very responsive. Gualala was a perfect little town less than a ten minute drive north that had great markets, stores and restaurants for dining in or takeout. We would love to stay here again! The only issues we had was the oven stopped working after 30 minutes and wouldn't come back on but we were able to cook the one meal we had planned anyway. The kitchen sink did not get any hot water so dishes weren't easy to do. Those are easily fixed and we notified the managers so I'm sure they'll be addressed.

  This was our 4th visit to this home and we can't say enough good things about this place. We stayed there for 7 nights and brought food to cook all our meals. The kitchen had everything we needed and we always love the walk-in pantry! There is also something special about the wood table we all gather around with the ocean view. Love it!
  
  The living room is so comfy, and the window bench seats are perfect! Several days our teen son chose to stay in the house instead of going to the beach since he likes it there so much. The bookcase is full of a lot of good books and the fireplace is such a treat to burn real wood in each night.
  
  The spa was a favorite for everyone, used all throughout the day and the deck is perfect with really nice furniture. Better than the plastic ones shown in the pictures. I even enjoyed doing my yoga on the deck and would see deer and baby quail pass on by during my practice.
  
  The bedrooms are a nice size and decorated well and the beds were comfortable. We loved the walk-in shower in the master!
  
  For those that need their technology too, we had great wifi the whole time and enjoyed watching their TV at night.
  
  I also enjoyed the large washer and dryer to tackle a few loads of laundry during the week.
  
  The location of this house is really perfect, you feel nestled in a cove surrounded by redwoods in the distance and tall golden grass surrounds you. You can easily see the ocean and open blue skies from the house. The walk to the trails is so fun, and right next to the house. The beach we visited each day was gorgeous, at times we had the beach all to ourselves. It could not have been better.
  
  As always this house is clean, and kept in great shape. Each year we come we recognize another improvement or maintenance upgrade, you can tell the owners love this house too and take really good care of it.

  Breaker View was beyond wonderful. View to the breaking surf. Walkable with the grandchildren on the weekends down the sand( no stairs) to walk on Beach. Home clean and nicely laid out. The staff at Sea Ranch rentals are the best. Info in house on what to see in the area. Did the Dry River Vineyards into Healdsburg, went to Fort Bragg, for a quick ride on the Skunk train, toured Mendocino Botanical Gardens, spent time in Mendocino town. Only quick fix needed is gas pressure on the stove top, unable to regulate if more than one on.

Somehow the field view with the ocean as the backdrop was magical to experience from the deck, hot tub and living room. It's such a cozy, private compound but with the tall ceilings and large windows feels spacious. Kitchen appliances were varied, good quality and in top shape. The art on the walls is tasteful and again qualiy. Somebody cares about this sweet sanctuary and it shows. Would go back in a heartbeat!

  We LOVE this home, it was our 3rd visit back and it felt like coming home, but only better! This house is so cozy, perfect to relax in and close to the ocean and trails. We noticed there were a lot of nice upgrades recently, a new stove and dishwasher, new BBQ, floors were redone, new patio furniture and a new recliner chair. We even noticed a lot of new beach reads in the book case. This house is beautiful in the day, with wonderful views, surrounded by open meadow, and at night the interior lighting is pretty fantastic, you can tell it was designed by someone who knows what they are doing. The wood ceiling creates a warm feeling throughout the home. We were impressed on how nice the home has stayed over the years. We can't wait for our next trip, there's nothing better than Sea Ranch at Breaker View.

  This house was absolutely amazing! Comfy, warm and inviting. My only complaint is the distance to the beach. Perhaps my own fault that I didn't realize it is not "beach front" so I'll still give 5 stars. This whole part of the coast is bluffs then beach. So there is always a hike of sorts and stairs. Not the best with a 2 & 3 year old in tow. Anyway, management folks were super nice, we didn't want for anything and my deposit was returned promptly.

Good layout, location, and well maintained. They added some nice patio furniture this year but one chair in the living room was missing. There are always six of of us so we missed the recliner. The only recommendation I would make is to improve the living room seating by replacing the old sofa and adding another recliner.

  This was such a perfect house for us - well equipped and luxurious yet cosy at the same time. I really really liked the big bathrooms and the huge walk-in shower. My husband had the only nit - he found the bed a little hard but he's very fussy! We have a 3 year old son and there were no safety concerns at all. Loved the view from the deck, the little enclosed garden at the back, the hot tub...plus all the movies and books to borrow. The house is in a perfect spot with a short walk to all the good beaches. I would recommend this house to anyone and would LOVE to go back some time!

  I'm a single mom and was dropping my youngest daughter to college in San Francisco. I wanted to make it really special so planned 4 days at Breaker view with both of my daughters 18, 25. From the moment we got there it was exactly what I had hoped for. The peace and tranquility just enveloped us. The field in front, as pictured, is unobstructed where as other properties have homes in front of them. It was foggy and a bit chilly every day but it only forced us to enjoy the house even more. We cooked every day together, lit the fire and tackled the 1000 piece puzzle! - Which we finished right before we walked out (BTW 3 pieces missing - I took pics to pass on:) . The outside Jacuzzi was perfect. We were visited by the deer every day and one very friendly racoon that came and watched us eat dinner through the glass every night with a very cute, sad face ...we knew better :) he even got in our car through a crack and ate all the cookies and altoids! Hysterical. Bottom line I couldn't have hoped for more . This is one of those memories with my daughters that will never fade and will always be so significant. I will be back again. Thank you!

  We love this home. This was our second time back and it felt like coming home. We love the floor plan, the cozy furniture, the beautiful kitchen with deck and spa close by. The window views are beautiful, I can't decide if I like the ocean view or the meadow view more. We loved seeing deer and even a fox visit us. We had clear days and got a great view of the ocean. The courtyard is pretty special too, a perfect place for morning tea and the wood fireplace is great for the evenings when you want to cuddle up. I appreciated the large washer and dryer, allowing us to do a little laundry while there and our kids appreciated the extra books and beach toys to play with. We love it here and can't wait to visit again.

  We loved both the location of the Breaker View property (perfectly situated by the walking trail that took us to great beaches), as well as the amenities of the home.   This is a great location in the Sea Ranch Community. The house is in a grassy meadow with a nice view of the ocean. It was tastefully decorated with a well-stocked, attractive kitchen and large windows. The beds were very comfortable. There is a jacuzzi on the deck, and it is only a short walk to the beach.

  We were very happy with the home we rented (Breaker View, 180 Walk on Beach). The house is excellent, and very well set up with all the necessary ammenities. We also appreciate the excellent service we received from Sea Ranch Rentals. We have been doing this trip every April for the last 10+ years and have gone through one of your competitors (who we shall not name)but there were always issues either with the properties, something major like hot tub not in working condition or with the service/attitude of the management company. Working with Sea Ranch Rentals was a breath of fresh air. We are completely happy and satisfied. We will be back next year! Thanks again!

  We LOVED our stay at Breaker View. It was our first time to Sea Ranch and this house was perfect for our family with a 7 and 9 year old. The house is just about a minute walk to the bluff and a few minute walk to many of the beaches. Tons to explore. There's a nice view of the ocean from the living room window, even though it's not right on the bluff. We actually saw whales passing by from the living room window. Amazing!! The house was SO well equipped with everything we could have needed and more. And games, puzzles, drawing supplies, movies for kids. The town of Gualala with a few restaurants and grocery stores is only about a five minute drive. We were all very sad to leave, and will definitely be back again!!
