  Robinsong was a great place to stay with our dog Ollie. He loved watching the deer in the meadow from the window seat and chasing balls in the fenced yard. This is a perfect home if you have a dog since most of the homes only have decks or maybe a courtyard with no ocean view. The deck area overlooks a cove so you get some nice white water views and crashing surf. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable but found it rather odd that you cannot use the closet in the master....you have to put your clothing in the hall closet outside the bedroom. Just a small inconvenience really. The kitchen was very well equipped except for glassware. The house sleeps four but with only two of us we found ourselves hand washing drink glasses. The only glassware that was plentiful was small juice glasses. Overall we loved the location, the outdoor deck areas, the hot tub, the wildlife, and the fenced yard. The house was very clean. It was also nice to be able to put our car in the garage so the raccoons didn't climb all over it at night. We would definitely rent Robinsong again. We have been renting homes from Beach Rentals for many years and have always been very pleased with their service.

  Our stay in this lovely home was beautiful! The location is lovely. The home is equipped with a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. Both bedrooms have their own private deck. The main living area has lovely window seats where you can relax for hrs. watching the Sapphire Blue Pacific or families of deer grazing in the meadow. It is close to stunning bluff trails that go on for miles along waters edge and through magical cypress groves. Delightful home for 4 people.The main outdoor deck is spacious and wonderful for just relaxing or dining. We would return for future stays for sure!

  This cozy home on the bluffs is the perfect getaway for people and their dogs. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. A big plus for dogs (and their people) is the outdoor fenced area where they can investigate, sniff, and potty. So many of the Sea Ranch homes only have decks, but Robinsong actually as a "yard." Great views and wonderful hiking with Shell Beach only at 20-minute walk away.

  I have been staying at Sea Ranch twice a year for over 20 years. I had my fav rental on this street for years but new owners took that house off rental market. It has been tough to find the perfect rental for my dog and me. Now I found it! This house is just as it is described by others and the rental agency. I love this location as it is close to Walk on Beach and the midway point of Sea Ranch. Lots of deer and turkey hang out in this area as well. The house is well designed with the two best decks giving ocean views! The inner closed deck is nicely landscaped and great for dogs. The home was spotless and all the windows were sparkling clean. It did rain at night but this house must have special windows that clear up after rain hits them! The home is uncluttered which gives a feel of serenity. The furniture is so comfortable and the 2 window seats have great views too! The beds are comfortable and tv’s in each bedroom. There are windows galore! Kitchen is well stocked and I loved reading the book about the development of Sea Ranch. The hot tub is big and has a great view. I love how the hot tub is on its own deck and away from the bedrooms so you don’t ever hear the pumps going on an off. I have trouble with wood stoves so I loved the big fireplace. My dog spent time looking out the windows for hours. The town of Mendocino is only 1 hour away. No wonder this house books up quickly. I’m glad to have found a great rental home in my fav area!

  We like the house and, especially, its deck. We've stayed there at least six times. It's good for a couple or small family but due to the bathroom arrangement, not for two couples. The inexcusable downside is that Beach Rentals keeps your $500 cleaning deposit for 2-3 weeks for no reason whatever except to get the interest on your money.

This allow us to review the cleaning sheet after the property has been completely cleaned.   We’ve rented many houses over the years at Sea Ranch and this is the first house we have rented that takes pets. Very nice house near but not on the bluff. Perfect setup for a dog. The driveway area is fenced in so your dog can roam safely doing what dogs do. The house was very clean and well equipped. The hot tub was pristine.   This had to be the most impressive dog friendly rentals we've ever had at Sea Ranch. Our dogs (dobies) had a blast. Great walking trails and perfectly situated to get to everything. It rained most of our stay but thankfully didn't have to worry about carpet getting dirty because floors are tile. Plenty of room for them to "do their business" too! Blitz & Gracie loved the treats! They even offered sheets to cover the furniture in case the dogs wanted to sit in the window boxes (which they did!) Highly recommend for dog people.

  We have been staying at Robinsong house since 2000. The owners have upgraded it over the years to make it especially comfortable for people and their dogs. This is one of the few houses that we've seen where dogs can step outside in an enclosed area to exercise and potty on the ground (as opposed to a deck). We've seen the ocean views diminish as a result of two new houses built in the last few years, but there is still a lovely whitewater view. This house will always be our pick whenever we wish to spend a relaxing few days along the north coast.

  We love Robinsong house and have stayed here numerous times; the house is the perfect size for our family of four: my two grown children, my belle fille, myself and our two small dogs.
  We particularly appreciate the enclosed front lovely garden with all sorts of flowers as well as the back deck- safe for Mr. Hobbs and D'Ashley to explore. The location of the house is convenient to hiking and Gualala, though the fairly recent finished construction of two houses across the cul-de-sac does impact the ocean views a bit. Noted and appreciate the recent upgrades to both bedroom linens sets as well as some kitchen towels and pans. The entertainment situation is great, and we bring along our ROKU and wi-fi is fast enough to run it. Appliances work. Did not make it into hot tub this go around because of rain...which brings me to rainy weekend and unexpected cold which caused us to need and use the fireplace more than usual and we found that it really smokes and dusts the living-room with ash...I brought kindling and newspapers to go along with the supplied firewood and we know how to build fires, but even with a hot fire going, we had terrible smoke and opened doors and windows to combat it. (Fireplace wood insert or gas insert?) Master Bedroom shower really needs, at least, a new shower head- the one in there now is like a lawn sprinkler. I have noted these issues in past reviews. We are returning next year and surely would love these two things ameliorated. Ditto recycling- need to have designated, dedicated outdoor cans to make that happen. I ran these issues by Beach Rentals before writing this review; they indicate that they forwarded my email onto the owner. At the prices/fees being charged today at Sea Ranch, renter expectations are raised. Different from 30 years ago when I started coming up there...thank you!

  Was completely without issue. I'm not much a plan ahead or make plans at all kinda traveler so every trip is an adventure but your company made it super easy. The property was very clean and a great proximity to the ocean side. Amenities such as shopping and dining in tgat were are very sparse but on a second trip I'll know to bring groceries alone, but we managed after a trip to the Guala market.

  My wife and I (and our two little boys) stayed here in Apr 2016. We loved it. The house was clean and bright, with huge windows facing south offering great ocean views. It was just a few steps from the coast trail which led to all sorts of cool spots for us to explore with the boys. (Note there is no true beach nearby, but that didnt bother us because it was too chilly and the water too rough for any swimming anyway). Great big deck outside also facing south, where I read and the boys played.
  
  One note - when we were there, there was construction going on at two of the houses on the shared cul de sac. you could hear saws hammering etc a bit but it wasnt an issue for us because it wasnt very loud and the workers were good about not starting too early or staying too late.
  
  All in all, a great visit and we'd love to stay there again

  Loved Robinsong. Great view and easy access to hiking trail for bluff and beach views. The house is really pretty inside, terrific living room with comfy window seats overlooking ocean, a large fireplace and all the amenities you would want. Really appreciated the good mattresses in both bedrooms. Lastly, we were able to bring our fig thanks to the secure fencing and entry gate.

  This marks our third stay in Robinsong and our 28th year coming to Sea Ranch; we love it there! Robinsong is perfect for my two grown children plus fiancee and two small dogs. The lovely enclosed front garden and the back deck are perfect for Mr. Hobbs and D'Ashley. The house is extremely well-appointed, comfortable and perfectly situated. The new construction across the cul-de-sac on two homes has blocked some of the ocean view, but gorgeous views are still available especially from the windows off the window seats and dining area, and off the back deck from the comfy chaise lounges....great hot tub with outdoor shower and lots of privacy. Near it all, but secluded enough for the magical Sea Ranch experience. Amazing starry skies and spectacular surf. Beach Rentals always on top of everything; house is very clean. Hoping for an upgrade to Master shower fixture; we do recycle here by keeping one can for that, but not sure that service is available from the garbage company. Have recommended house to friends; hope it does not become TOO popular as we truly consider it "ours"!

  We stayed at Robinsong for two weeks in July. The house is perfectly set up for dogs (we brought our two). The front yard is fully enclosed, as is the back deck, so the dogs could roam safely and happily. The views are lovely, but there are two nearby houses under construction, so there was a fair amount of noise and traffic daily, including on the weekends. One of the houses looks to have several more months of work ahead.
  Back to the house: the living room and kitchen are nicely laid out, with great views. We will definitely be back (hopefully the construction will be completed soon).

  This is our second visit to Robinsong- we try to visit Sea Ranch in October and May each year, and this house is now our Go To Favorite. This house is perfect for us. We have two small dogs and the pet-friendly house and safe, fenced in front yard and decks mean we can all relax. The house is comfortable and well-appointed, providing perfect spaces for fun times all together, as well as privacy when sought. Close to trails and the sound of the sea does come through despite the new construction across the cul-de-sac. Nice hot tub- very private and still with a view of the sea. Management company extremely professional and helpful- even providing a bottle of delicious wine upon arrival for us and Iams dog biscuits in a sweet welcome bundle for the pooches. Cannot wait to return in October. Have recommended house to friends- all love it!

The home is located in a court, so is quite private. The enclosed deck is perhaps the "best room" in the house-we loved it. The living room and kitchen are nicely laid out, and the front courtyard (complete with a Meyer lemon tree!) is perfect for dogs. We'll be back this summer for two long, relaxing weeks!

The location is good in terms of proximity to the ocean, trails and Gualala-and the discount because of the two houses under construction across the street appreciated. Fireplace a wee bit tricky as seemingly all fireplaces are at Sea Ranch at least in my years of experience. Wish that recycling was de rigeur here. I really like this house- it is my new favorite. Also appreciate the lovely decks, furniture, beautiful garden and outdoor gated areas for the pooches! Screens on doors and windows a plus too....we cooked in and as always, appreciate the super Surf Market.

  This was my first time up to Sea Ranch and renting from Beach Rentals. They were simply terrific. From the moment I checked in I was given information on local activities, restaurants, and told if I needed anything to just call. The Robinsong house is lovely - amazing view and very peaceful. I was welcomed with a nice bottle of Chardonnay and my dog was given treats and a spare leash. There are walking trails right outside the door that follow the ocean. You also receive a parking pass that allows you to park at other trail heads - some lead to beaches. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend Robinson and Beach Rentals to anyone.

  Great view and a dog friendly house. This house has a fenced yard for you dog. Lots of decks and deck furniture including an umbrella. The location and views are great. Very strange bathroom location for the second bedroom. The second bathroom is not near the second bedroom. You have to walk by the master bedroom to get to the second bathroom. The hot tub looked new and was easy to adjust. The kitchen was well stocked. I like the fact that the beds were made when you arrived and towels were included. Furniture could be a little cleaner

  We are in the process of moving from Arizona to The Sea Ranch. We sold our house in AZ put our furniture in storage and headed to TSR to find a home and wait for escrow (usually 30+ days), so we opted to stay at TSR in a rental. The first week was RobinSong. It was wonderful, right down to the leash, towel and couch cover for the dogs - all supplied by Beach Rentals. The staff at Beach Rentals were very accommodating right down to changing a date or 2 when our AZ home sale hit a minor snag. The accommodations at RobinSong we fantastic. Great views, comfy home, good internet, warming fireplace, a bed you didn't want to get up from - all on a single level home on a cul-de-sac. Definitely a great stay and we only wish we could have stayed there the full 30 days.

  We have been staying at Robinsong with our dogs since 2000. We like the one-level home with its array of picture windows and viewing decks. Even more, we love having an enclosed outside space (with pretty garden) where the dogs can play and potty. Beach Rentals even provides doggie towels, sheets and biscuits for visiting canines. The house is very well appointed with a well-stocked kitchen, gas BBQ, hot tub, and TVs. And, there's the white water view with the sound of crashing waves; wildlife viewing (including whales) from the deck; and a 15-20 minute walk to beaches north and south. Every stay at Robinson has been so relaxing and lovely.

  We've been renting Robin's Song for about 12-13 years now and were quite shocked to see a home is being built that will block the beautiful ocean view. It was bound to happen we know - but still somewhat saddened our trip. We'll still be coming to Sea Ranch but may look at renting another house. Otherwise - a VERY nice relaxing stay :)
  P.S. The kitchen window needs a screen (the flies are a problem) and a replacement window shade would be nice since the sun hits that side of the house in the morning. Thank you!

  Great window seats facing the pleasant view across the meadow toward the sea. Very comfortable bed. Very nice compact kitchen with a plethora of dishes, pots, etc. Perhaps ther best thing is the large attractive deck facing the view out of the wind, with its comfortable deck furniture with seat and chaise pads (not the usual polastic).The adjacent lot looked like it had been recently surveyed, so check that there isn't construction happening.

  A Sea Ranch getaway is hard to beat--my wife and I and our dog enjoyed our stay tremendously. The trail leading both north and south along the bluffs is accessible from right behind the house, and we walked for hours in both directions. The beaches were peaceful, gorgeous and uncrowded.   We had wonderful stay at RobinSong. Nice to be able to bring our little dog with us. The kitchen is well set up with cooking gear. The bedrooms are fine. One of the best features is the location. It is at the end of a cul de sac with a fantastic ocean view. The Sea Ranch trail goes behind the house so you don't have folks looking in your windows or going by your deck as you watch the ocean. There is a house being finished across the way and some yet to be built lots on the circle so just ask what is going on with construction. We were there the weekend so there was no building or noise happening. I would stay here again

Robinsong is the perfect place to relax and unwind while watch the waves. A dog friendly house, I especially enjoy having my entire family with me. I'd definitely recommend Robinsong!

  You cannot beat the ocean view at Robinsong. A beautiful and relaxing way to unwind, with a great deck for afternoon refreshments. Lots of wildlife too; sea birds, deer (including fawns), a fox and even a skunk! A great trip.

  Hot tub lid was a problem, not enough room to use the lifter provided, but the tub itself was just fine - also no ocean view was disappointing. The house was very homey and cozy, we would definitely stay here again.

  Very much enjoyed Robinsong - great views, lovely home. Our dog loved the yard and large benches under the picture windows; home would be equally enjoyable to non-pet owners.
