Seabbatical is a captivating retreat that integrates inside and outside common spaces. Skylights and large windows provide beautiful natural light and views of trees, sky, and ocean. Solar panels provide energy efficiency, along with 240V EV charger available in the garage. There is also a separate and private office space in the garage with a desk, chair, monitor, and wifi for remote work.


Step outside and walk a short distance to the Bluff Trail, where you can head South to the Sea Ranch Lodge, Moonraker Recreation Center, and Black Point Beach. Head North a short distance to Pebble Beach, or the Marine Preserve, to watch the seals and their pups playing or resting on the rocks. Hiking, biking, tide-pooling, boulder climbing, and building sand castles are all within walking distance of Seabbatical.


Imagine your vacation at Seabbatical enjoying the cozy space with family & friends, cooking, playing card and board games, and watching the morning sunrise and the nighttime stars (and planets!) from the covered deck or hot tub. Towels and bed linens included for 1 King and 1 Queen.

    We have stayed in SeaRanch rentals for years, and this is our favorite small house so far. This is a lovely little (just right for two or three)cozy, and well designed cottage. Close to trail, VERY quiet and very comfortable. Very clean and appears to be brand new. Loved the unusual shower and appreciated the lighting design in the whole house. The simple, efficient decor contribute to a relaxing , peaceful stay.

    Over 25 years of renting at Sea Ranch we've stayed in a lot of houses and this one might be the best one we've had. Lots of reasons, but mostly because the owner/host has thought of everything and skimped on nothing. The house feels like it belongs to a person who really wants you to enjoy your stay, not to a rental company or an investment company. The light in this house is lovely -- I could paint anywhere, any time. The beds were super comfy, the dining table was huge -- you could eat at one end and do a puzzle at the other. Best of all is the back deck which is COVERED. Too many times at Sea Ranch there has been no shade on the deck and the sun's intensity can drive you inside. Here we could sit in the sun and have a glass of wine or bundle up under the roof and watch the rain -- both of which we did. The location is super quiet; close to the trail and the shore. The appliances were very new and very high-end -- another treat. Loved the gas fireplace and cute corner sofa in the window. I would stay here again in a hot minute!
