Tin Roof / Unit 24, Lot 109: TOT ID # 3908N. This is one of Obie Bowman's AIA gems. The main house and guest house share a large, landscaped courtyard, complete with patio furniture and gas BBQ. The main house also offers a gourmet kitchen where more than one cook can give a hand. The floor plan is open between the kitchen, dining and living, so all can enjoy the wide ocean views by day and the ambience of the gas fireplace at night. The primary bedroom is up a long shallow staircase and enjoys a soaking tub with jets and separate step-down shower. The expansive, light-filled primary bedroom and bath are open to the great room living space below. A half bath is off the kitchen.
The guest house has 2 bedrooms on separate levels, each with their own half bath in bedroom, and a shared shower in the hall. Towels and sheets are provided. Free WIFI is available. Children over 12 ok. 1 dog allowed. Garage not accessible for renters.

    Sea ranch rental office welcomed us so nicely! They gave us mini flash lites and gave our dog a treat. It was so nice to check in with them. They are so nice there.
    The house was exactly as it is described. The beds were comfortable. We could be at the beach in less than ten minutes.
    The last day is rained. So we put on the fireplace and checked out the awesome library of books in the house! Great assortment!
    We played cards too.
    The large windows let you see the whales and deer crossing! And maybe a raccoon!
    You can tell that the owners take special care of their home and we tried to treat it like it was our own home too.
    We will be back. ❤️

    An amazing and well-stocked kitchen, but the oven was inexplicable, the stove was cumbersome to light and keep on low and the coffee pot was crusted with years of use. The master bedroom open to the kitchen is not for everyone. The guest house does not work for two couples as every noise travels up and down stairs. The blocks in the courtyard are uncomfortable to walk across bare foot. The dead plans in pots and the dead tree at the entrance should be removed, as should the Chlordane, Malathion and Roundup in the shed. The dining and living room areas are light and delightful.

      We would like to thank the renter for their comments about the house. We have checked the stove and it seems to be working fine. We did get a new coffee pot and thank you for letting us know about the condition of the old one. Yes, the open bedroom may not be for everyone. It is best for a couple instead of a group. If there is a group, the cottage bedrooms are available. Again the open stairwell does allow for noise to travel up and down the stairs. We have had a gardener remove the dead plants and tree in the garden. All chemicals have been removed as well. Thank you from the owner and Beach Rentals

    My Husband and I had a really good time in this unusual house. The outdoor deck area has a great view and we had all of our meals outside while viewing the ocean, you do however need shoes when walking on that surface. The house is a very open floor plan, so if you are trying to sleep and someone is in the kitchen, it can be a little noisy. The appliances are a little complicated but we managed. Beach Rentals ,as always, were very helpful and friendly.
