Unit 34A ... Lot 31. Serene bluff compound with white water and meadow views. Main house has living room, music area with skylight for sky and stargazing, updated kitchen & dining area. As well as bedroom with king bed and full bath. A separate guest cottage views the enclosed garden, with queen bed and 3/4 bath. Hot tub available to guests in enclosed deck with a sliding view window for meadow views. Small viewing deck on bluff side. This home allows for 1 dog.

Located above the garage is a loft with office space and queen bed, meadow view, and downstairs 3/4 bath. Tesla charging station for your use, as well as laundry room. Convenient north end location, walking distance to Del Mar recreation facilities, and a short drive to Gualala.

Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), with a 2-car garage available. No RV's.
Maximum occupancy is 6 for this home.
Guests must leave the property when a voluntary evacuation order is issued for the evacuation zone.

  We've been renting homes at Sea Ranch for many years. This was another awesome stay and our 1st time staying in the Tide Pool home. However, there are pros and cons to mention. Overall I would give the Tide Pool house 4.5 stars. Pros: It's a little choppy, but the 2 detached bedrooms and bathrooms give the guests some privacy which turned out to be nice. The hot tub was in good condition. Besides the beautiful ocean view, the kitchen, although fairly small, was fully stocked with very nice, high quality kitchen ware. It was kind of surprising that the owners would stock such expensive items. This kitchen had everything a cook could want. The furniture was fairly comfortable as well. Cons: The patio furniture in the courtyard was not comfortable. Also, being so close to the ocean and tide pools, with the view and all, it was missing some sort of deck. It would have been nice to sit out in the evenings. The house was on the small side, but plenty big for 4 people. We never did find the garage door opener or the key to the gas fireplace. We did have a fire one night. In spite of having the damper open, the fireplace didn't vent well. It got real smoky in the house. Overall, I would recommend this house. We had a good time cooking, laughing, and visiting. Looking to many more stays at Sea Ranch.

  We’ve been enjoying rental homes at TSR for 42 years and this property was among the best with a few concerns. Nicely appointed and very comfortable. Nice but not spectacular views. Certainly clean and well cared for.Radiant heat is a nice feature. The best feature is the three separate, very private bedrooms, two with full baths - great for achieving separation at the end of the day. A few disappointing observations- there’s a logical place for, but no outside deck - you can’t sit outside on the ocean side to listen, watch and enjoy the proximity to the water (there’s a lovely garden to sit in on the others side).The hot tub is fully enclosed offering no views whatsoever while partaking. There’s little counter space in the kitchen which could be an issue if you’re preparing dinner for more than a few people. With those critiques, it’s a very nice property. Would I rent it again? We like white water homes next to the bluff trail. This home wouldn’t be my first choice for the reasons stated but if some of our favorites were unavailable, we’d stay here again.

  This house was gorgeous and comfortable. We had an amazing time during our stay. The home comes with beautiful views and a very relaxing ambiance. Our only issue was the wooden paneling overlay in the shower. This surface never dried, making showering a bit disagreeable and making us feel like we had forgotten shower shoes. THe shower is also completely open (not enclosed) making water splash to many locations in the restroom. The previous temporary tenants seem to have possibly forgotten to do some of their dishes as a few we attempted to use were dirty and some dishes were also left in the dishwasher itself. The hottub could have had a better view as well. Other than those minor issues, the home and stay itself was incredibly amazing. Thank you for hosting us!

  Beautiful home inside and out! The property was well kept and has everything you could possibly need from board games, binoculars for whale watching from the family room or trail immediately behind the home to all the kitchen gadgets and gizmos. Did I mention the hot tub and vinyls?!! We had an amazing time hiking along the bluffs and taking in the magical night sky. It’s extra special as we got engaged! We will definitely be back!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Tide Pool. The house was very well stocked for cooking and entertainment. There were plenty of towels and we loved the hot tub. It is right on the bluff with amazing views and easy access for walks on the coast trail. We would definitely rent again.

  Great location: Ocean-front with incredible views, but somewhat set back from the Bluff Trail (so you don’t have people walking really close to your windows).   We wound up in a terrific, newly renovated home. It was extremely attractive and laid out perfectly. It is also I in a great location, close to the ocean with an unobstructed view. Sea Ranch itself is wonderful— beautiful, peaceful and natural. And it has the best dog park anywhere! Great stay.

  As the first guests staying at Tide Pool I’m uncharacteristically writing a review because the home is outstanding. The expansive living room window has two perfectly placed chairs to enjoy the view. It is mesmerizing looking through the meadow to crashing waves. The home is set back far enough from the trail that it provides privacy. Plus the trail entrance is a 1/2 block away which reduces visitors walking by the house. The kitchen is fully stocked with all pans, dishes and utensils imaginable. We found the two sided kitchen/living room fireplace to be a favorite feature. It was cozy cooking each night with a fire. The owner has added many comforts to enjoy but a must try is the towel warmer in the bathrooms. The layout provides separate space for everyone all connected by a lovely interior courtyard. I’ve rented many homes over the last 15 years in The Sea Ranch and appreciate Sea Ranch Rentals for the care and cleaning protocols they adhere to. I’m particular when it comes to a clean environment and this home is at the top of my list so much so that we’ve already reserved another stay.
