Lovely Day

Unit 24, Lot 145.Lovely Day promises a lovely stay. Fully remodeled in 2022, the house is located in the sunny and sought-after section 24, a 10-minute walk to Shell Beach and the bluff trail. The house has wide views of the moor and ocean, with three decks and a private garden. Furnished with mid-century furniture and boasting a custom chef’s kitchen, the home’s comfortable open floor plan encourages socializing.

A two-story entry atrium welcomes guests with direct sunlight, an Italian crystal chandelier and sweeping views. An open floor plan connects the sunken living, dining and kitchen areas. Wide sliding doors in the dining and living areas open to a west-facing deck with sweeping ocean views, comfortable, cushioned furniture, a dining table and barbeque. A gas fireplace is the center point of the high-ceilinged living room. On the main floor is a half-bath with laundry, and a cozy media room with a wide-screen smart TV and a comfortable queen-sized futon. Also on the main floor is a guest bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa and ocean views, and an ensuite bath with heated tile floors, a soaking tub and hand-held shower. The bath connects to the enclosed rear deck, with sunken round hot tub, table and chairs, lounge chairs and a private, outdoor hot shower.

Upstairs, the ocean-view primary suite has a cathedral ceiling, a queen bed, large sitting area with sofa and club chair, a small deck and a large bathroom with soaking tub, stall shower, separate toilet room and custom cabinetry. The Design Within Reach-style furniture throughout the home has been carefully curated by the artist owners, and the home is filled with original art.

There are four steps up to the front porch, two steps down from the entry hall to the living areas and a flight of stairs to the primary suite. Lovely Day is beautifully positioned, with moor and ocean views welcoming guests to the great outdoors of Sea Ranch.

Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), parked in driveway. No RV's.

  On what has become an annual trip to Sea Ranch, our stay at Lovely Day was exactly what we needed. The house was in a great location to walk directly out to the Bluffs and just a short drive to the rec centers, lodge, golf course and Gualala.
  
  The only downside to the house is that there is only one shower inside the house in the bedroom upstairs and there are no doors on the bathrooms in the bedroom. Otherwise this house was perfect for 2 couples to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Would recommend to anyone who wants to explore Sea Ranch!

  Really loved this house. Modern amenities. Lots of light. Saw wonderful wildlife right outside the window. Comfortable seating areas and beds. Nice open kitchen/dining area. Loved the automated gas fireplace and the separate media room. Location of the house is close to Ohlson recreation center and Gualala. A downside was that it could have used more privacy blinds. We felt a bit exposed in the downstairs bathroom and upstairs master bedroom. The dishwasher also didn't work but we were credited for that during our stay. Overall, this house suited our small family well and we would rent here again.

  We had a perfectly Lovely Week at Lovely Day. The location is close to the beach, but in a spot protected from the wind. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and spotless. The owners’ artwork is also great. We will come back soon.

  We are regular visitors to The Sea Ranch and have explored many options (as far as where to stay and which rental agency to use). Both Lovely Day and Beach Rentals are now at the top of our list. This house is a winner, particularly because it has two equally nice bedrooms - perfect for two couples, since there is no compromise needed. The kitchen is particularly good (even if some of the appliances are a bit complicated to use). Lovely Day has been recently upgraded and is in a great location.

  Beach Rentals are always efficient and helpful and I recommend them. We enjoyed walks to the beach, Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea, dining at the Thai Restaurant and St. Orres, and just relaxing with the marvelous weather. We did drive to Mendocino and had a great visit there. We were not able to use the barbecue. We did appreciate the grab bars and the many hooks for jackets.

  Conveniently located, gorgeous home in SeaRanch! We loved soaking in the hot tub and taking daily walks to the seal rookery, we even saw whales slapping their tails a highlight for us. Well appointed kitchen and the management company was gracious and helpful. We would come again.

  Wow wow wow!! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Sea Ranch this past weekend. The home, including all the furniture and art, is GORGEOUS and well equipped with everything you and your family may need. We enjoyed cooking big meals, walking along the coastline, lounging on the deck and by the fireplace, hot tub stargazing and so much more.

  Thank you beach rentals and the Romers for such a fun vacation. We very much enjoyed your beautiful, newly remodeled home. The location in the meadows is very peaceful and it's also conveniently located between both rec centers. We brought our bikes and biked to both. The open floorpan on the ground floor is fun and still very cosy. We recommend this home to any potential renters.
