  We had a wonderful time staying at Galleon's Point. The views from every room (including the bathroom!) were breathtaking, and the furniture and decor - were super stylish. We fall asleep to the sound of the ocean.
  
  Everything was in working condition, but the kitchen and bathrooms can be updated - a panel fell off one of the bathroom cabinets because (as it seemed) the glue dried out.

  My writer's group came there for four nights in mid-Feb 2023. The views and sounds of the crashing waves were extraordinary. The house is stunning and comfortable. It does need some updating, esp in the kitchen and bathrooms as those systems are starting to fail, but this is a house to stay in for its enormous privacy and ocean views. It's a wow in every direction.
  
  I also want to thank the folks at Sea Ranch Rentals for their attentiveness to a quirky smoke alarm issue when we checked in. The sound of which was hard to locate. But they fixed it without delay, and we are grateful.

  Our stay at Galleons Point was near perfect. From the moment we arrived we were stunned by the views from every room. The beauty of Sea Ranch surrounds this house - whether you are inside enjoying a meal or outside relaxing on the Adirondacks. The home is an architectural gem, completely private with a short hike to the lodge and all of its great amenities. The staff at Beach Rentals were great to work with, the home was very clean, pictures and description were spot on. Our only issue - It was very windy during our 7 day visit and the shutters on the bedroom windows banged loudly during the night, making it very difficult to sleep. I think this could be fixed easily - but plan to bring ear plugs if wind is in the forecast!

The house is an award winning architectural marvel. It is well appointed with ample, comfortable seating, books, binoculars, puzzles, toys, cooking equipment, even a piano. If you are considering this property, feel confident: the photos are accurate and the place is simply marvelous in every way. (If you want to use the wood stove, bring kindling.) The staff is warm and informative. The Surf Market is close by and is a terrific grocery store. Trails for walking are just steps away.

  This place is one in a million, and our family made some wonderful memories together. Architecture was amazing, and loved being out on the point where our closest neighbor was the sea. Stephanie at Beach Rentals was nice to work with, and the house was very clean except the barbecue was a mess, inside and out and some of the pans were not particularly clean. Squeaky King bed box spring needs replacing in the corner room, and cookware could use an upgrade. Little things, but important when you are spending the big $$. Overall, an enjoyable and, in many ways, amazing vacation home.
