The home includes a main level living room, full kitchen, dining room, primary suite with king bed and jacuzzi tub, gallery with a twin bed, library with two twin beds, queen bed in loft and a full bath. An additional studio primary suite with a king bed and full bath is accessible from a private entrance on the oceanside deck. No hot tub.

Living: Large picture windows with ocean views from every room. Wood burning fireplace, original artwork throughout, Free Wi-Fi, 50” HD Smart TV in living room, 40” HD Smart TV downstairs, both with Blu-ray/DVD players. Blue tooth speakers and cd player. Washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, hair dryers in each bathroom.

Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms, 2 king beds, 3 twin beds and 1 queen bed in loft. Linens and towels included.

  Our stay met (high) expectations, though we were unprepared in a couple of ways that Beach Rentals' literature might have warned us about:
  1) Rosemary Bluff is about 10 miles south of Gualala, the center of things, and we ended up driving that stretch several times. In a Tesla, and we didn't have the adapter that would have allowed us to recharge at, say, Sea Ranch Lodge. We ended up making a special trip down to Timber Cove and spending a few hours getting enough charge to carry us through.
  
  2) A (great!) concert at the Gualala Arts Center ended up running late, letting out at 9:00pm. There's no place to eat open that late!

  The best part about this house was the view, and the surrounding neighborhood was very nice. We have been renting houses at The Sea Ranch for 15 years, and this house was by far a terrible disappointment. It needs a lot of TLC; the furniture was uncomfortable and smelled; there were no kitchen towels; no room to put groceries; and, the primary bathroom’s shower door felt like it was going to fall off, and the shower water handles were very flimsy. We booked a four night stay, but left after the third night because it was just too uncomfortable. We will continue to visit The Sea Ranch, but will definitely not return to this house.

  We loved our stay at Rosemary Bluff in Sea Ranch! The house is lovely, accommodating our large party easily. The kitchen, though small, was fully stocked and therefore very easy to cook in even for our large group. The view was fantastic - even saw migrating whales. Rather liked being at the far end of Sea Ranch away from everyone. It's just a short drive to town. And you are so close to Two Fish, which is a worthy visit for any Sea Ranch vacationer! Having a separate second master bedroom worked out wonderfully for our group, offering privacy but also the ability to join in with everyone on the main floor. I highly recommend this home - quirky, mid-century modern, perfect get away retreat!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rosemary Bluff. The sunsets and moon risings were lengendary! The house is very homey, with comfortable sleeping accommodations for large groups. Everyone enjoyed watching the water for whales, listening to the waves, and perusing the eclectic book collection in the library. We especially loved that dogs are welcome and our furry baby had a wonderful vacation! Though far from trails & beaches, it is only a 3 minute drive to Two Fish!

  If you yearn for privacy and an unobstructed ocean view this is your getaway place. And you're only about a 3 minute drive from the Two Fish Store for those breakfast rolls and other treats! The layout of the house allows from lots of privacy for each guest if you like. And though the kitchen is smallish, the open floor plan of the dining and living room area makes it all work well together.
  Excellent internet connection and if you need to stay up-to-date with any TV series, the TV is easy to figure out - a rarity in many Sea Ranch house rentals!

  I've been coming up to Sea Ranch a couple times a year for almost 20 years now. And, this is one of my favorite rentals. The views are spectacular from every room.
  
  Yes, the decor may be a little dated, but that doesn't matter much to me. The furniture was all clean and comfortable. Everything worked. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was a little small, but well appointed, and functioned just fine for us.
  
  It's located at the south end of town, very close to the lodge and Two Fish. It's a longer trek into Gualala, but only like 10 minutes or so. The bluff trail doesn't extend down here, but you can drive 2 minutes to catch it.
  
  There are a few steps to get up to the house, so that may be hard for an older person or dog, but it wasn't an issue for us. Also, the loft bed is up a ladder. Again, might be difficult for an elderly person to navigate.
  
  I would absolutely rent this place again. Just absolutely stellar.

  We spent spring break with our children and grandchildren at Sea Ranch. Rosemary Bluff is a nice house but not located near walking trails and beaches. We had to drive to everything. The house is older (and it shows) with oriental decor. We enjoyed the spectacular views and watching the sunset nightly. There was plenty of room for the seven of us in our party. The only criticism was the bad smell located in the master bedroom and bathroom. We couldn’t find the specific location so we sprayed a lot of Lysol and Febreze. Other than that the our stay was awesome.

  We loved the quiet location at the south end of Sea Ranch and the views were spectacular from the house. We were disappointed with the condition of the home......we didn't feel that it was very clean, and numerous things were broken or not functional. One shower did not work, a bathroom fan did not work, windows would not open, a bathroom heater did not work, dishes and dishtowels were dirty, and so on. It just seemed like things were old and tired and not well maintained. The house is definitely dated and this is reflected in the furnishings and the condition of the house. We called the rental company in advance with questions about the set up as we had an elderly guest in a wheelchair and things were not accurately represented as far at the number of stairs or steepness of the stairs, or that possibly this might be a difficult house to navigate. I don't think the rental folks go there to check on things too often and they don't seem to know the details of the house. It is hard to tell the specific layout of the house from the pictures. I would not recommend this property for an elderly visitor with physical limitations. Since we traveled from the south, we had to make the trip out of the way to Gualala to get the keys. It would seem like a lock box could be installed on the property so that guests do not have to go out of their way to get the keys. This might also help the property management folks get a look at the property to see the condition of things for themselves.

  We enjoyed our stay. Before we arrived, I read the reviews that were not available when we booked. Some of the reviews worried me. I'm writing this review because I wanted to provide some more information. We thought the property was very dog friendly. If you have an older dog, the stairs might be hard. Yes, the property is older but that is the charm of the home. The home is clean, has plenty of books and the views are amazing. The kitchen is small and well appointed. The property is on a very quiet street. The BBQ looks like it has seen better days but we used it 3 times and it worked like a champ. We've been rented at least 5 times at Sea Ranch and we've decided to stay at Rosemary's Bluff next time. It was unfortunate that the coffee maker didn't work. I recommend checking with the property mgt to confirm they replaced it.

  This was the first time we rented Rosemary Bluff. The house is pet friendly and that was a requirement of ours. We liked the fact that there were two master bedrooms as well. However, nowhere in the description of the house does it say that one of those masters is only accessible by going outside of the main house. Hated that.
